Analytical Environmental Services, Inc. is dedicated to providing the best possible service to our clients. Each client is assigned their own Project Manager to assist with any analytical needs they may have.
TURNAROUND TIME
AES strives to provide the highest quality analysis and the fastest turnaround possible. Our normal turnaround is five business days, excluding holidays and weekends. Rush turnaround is available for most analyses. All Rush work MUST be prescheduled. Turnaround Time begins when the samples arrive at the laboratory, unless discrepancies exist between the Chain of Custody and/or information used to schedule analytical work. For samples that have discrepancies, the turnaround time begins when all issues have been resolved.
Samples are analyzed as prearranged and in order of acceptance, and scheduled for highest efficiency. Regulated holding times may also affect the rapidity of service available.
RUSH ANALYSIS
Rush turnaround is available only with prior notice to the laboratory. Rush fees range from 25% to 200% depending on the desired turnaround time. Rush fees will also be assessed for samples which are received with 24 hours or less remaining on EPA established holding time. If the due date is a weekend or holiday, results will be faxed and final results submitted on the following business day.
RETENTION OF SAMPLES
After submission of final results to client, samples are routinely retained in our sample storage for 30 calendar days. Prior arrangements must be made if samples are to be held for a longer period of time. Disposal of hazardous samples is provided by an approved waste disposal contractor. Samples stored at the client’s request with no analysis performed will be charged a sample disposal fee.
DATA & REPORT RETENTION
The original data and associated reports are held in a designated storage area for a period of five (5) years.
