The responsibilities include the following: Train and qualify employees on
procedures, employee performance evaluation management, monitor necessary
protocols and SOPs-including control charts, maintain quality control(QC)
within their area, ensure that personnel under their supervision use
approved procedures and maintains all instrumental quality control,
recommends and implements new or revised QC policies as approved by the QA
manager, review all data and QC results, provide guidance to
analysts/technicians in resolving problems encountered daily during sample
preparation, ensures that all log books are maintained and current and
maintains adequate and valid inventory of reagents, standards, spare parts,
and other relevant resources required for daily operations, assists
technical director with the tracking and maintenance of certain lab
documents.
